Because change can't wait, FRNCH works daily towards increasingly responsible collections

We don't claim to be perfect right now, and we don't set unattainable goals, but we are constantly working to reduce the environmental impact of our clothing, season after season. Our ambition is to move towards more responsible collections. This determination is shared by our entire team, who are convinced that the well-being of the planet must be reflected in the women we dress.

Materials, our responsibility

Explore our Change range for more environmentally friendly fashion.

Launched in the fall of 2021, the Change range reimagined the use of materials to steer our collections towards a more environmentally conscious approach, favoring eco-responsible materials with a low environmental impact. We reduced the use of synthetic materials in favor of natural and organic materials, such as cotton and wool, as well as artificial materials derived from the processing of natural materials.

ECOVERO® viscose, a certified fiber, is produced from wood pulp sourced from sustainable forests and requires less water than traditional viscose. It meets the strict standards established by the EU ECO Label to ensure traceability and the sustainability of its operations while respecting the environment.

Lyocell, as a substitute for traditional viscose, is made from cellulose. Its fiber is biodegradable and its processing uses a non-toxic, natural solvent.

Because change can't wait any longer.

Reducing our impact also means striving for the least possible surplus. That's why we're working on a pre-order system, with quantities as precise as possible for responsible production (which sometimes explains stock shortages on certain items).

Also, in an effort to recycle and achieve zero waste, we use leftover pieces of fabric to make small complementary pieces for our collections.

Our stylists work with fabric scraps to create accessories featuring our exclusive prints, for a matching (and smart) head-to-toe look, which are available in very limited quantities.

We therefore do not manufacture any additional fabric to make them; we only recycle what we have left over.

European Fashion

FRNCH is proud to support La Mode Européenne in its incredible adventure through the donation of our old stock.

The European Fashion Association is strengthening its work in solidarity shops in Congo and Cape Verde by offering our products at very affordable prices for locals. Thanks to our surplus stock of quality and trendy clothing, which is sent to Africa, we give these products a new life through reuse and preserve permanent jobs for people who are furthest from the workforce.
